Corey Neumeier is a reporter for CHS Today, and has been with the staff for two years. His primary job is as a staff photographer for both the newspaper and yearbook teams. Last year he took two state awards for published photography and is looking forward to winning more this year.

The term “sock baby” may lead to an array of things someone might picture. The sock babies were often pink (sometimes black) socks, filled with rice, with arms, legs and a head that made it look more like a real baby. Even though they resembled babies, socks go in shoes and, apparently, some students think sock babies do too.

Conifer High School used to host the lab through Lutheran hospital in the morgue, and the lab was run by a medical student on only one cadaver. The lab was then moved to Red Rocks, which provided the students the opportunity to observe both a male and female cadaver. It’s two cadavers and you go in there and it’s much more open, it doesn’t feel like a morgue, Christine Stricker said.

Hanson has many roles on the team, not the least of which are the drive coach, which means that Hanson is very skilled at driving the robots the team creates. Hanson’s other jobs also include general management, electrical lead, Co-team lead, mechanical worker, and designer. “I wear many hats in robotics,” Hanson said.
