Congratulations to Conifer High School’s DECA Chapter for an incredible year!  If you are not familiar with DECA, it is an international association of marketing students that is 220,000 members strong with competitions at the local, state and international levels.  This year, Conifer DECA has set a number of personal records, including the highest % of State Qualifiers from our District Conference, more than doubling the number of students who qualified for ICDC, District recognition for the most community service hours, recognition from National DECA for the growth of our chapter membership, and teacher/ advisor Amber Hall was recognized as the New Marketing Teacher of the Year for Colorado DECA.
We are especially proud of the 15 Conifer High School DECA students whom just returned from a 5-day trip to Anaheim, California to represent our Conifer community as they competed in their qualifying events with 15,000 other DECA students from around the globe in the International Career Development Conference (ICDC).  At ICDC, each event consisted of 140 to 350 competitors who all had to qualify in the top 5% of competitors in order to compete at the international level.
