Monica Zoldowski is a freshman at Conifer high school and is a reporter for CHSToday.net. She enjoys volleyball, rock climbing, tennis and anything that involves the outdoors. She is currently playing volleyball as a middle. Fitness  is a very big part because it makes her feel more happy, and happiness is a major goal in her life.

The dopamine caused by social media and phone usage can cause an addiction to the device from over usage. “I think that social media is an addiction, just like anything else. Like even my 12 year old, I have to bribe him to get him off,” counselor Carrie Vanni said.

Every year in February Conifer students excluding outgoing seniors, must complete their class registration. Students register for classes both on paper and on Infinite Campus, and the course names displayed are the official course names. “Social Media sounds like something that involves Social Media, like Instagram, not a second year Newspaper course,” Fritz said.
