The townspeople in Once on this Island, egged on by Eirik Skildheim, God of Death, are riled up about the two young protagonists who are in love. Skildheim, as the God of Death, pushed the townspeoples thinking throughout the play. Being part of the pit orchestra was really fun because there were a lot of hand drums used to create an island sound in the music, percussionist Allie Sargent said. We dont normally get to play instruments like that.
