The New England Patriots seem to have brought back their Super Bowl-contending franchise, and the Seattle Seahawks have grown from a franchise with no sights on the Super Bowl to a team that has the odds of winning it.
Seeming as if their ‘glory days’ were over since Tom Brady—known as one of the best quarterbacks of all time—left the team, the Patriots have gone from a 4-13 to a 14-3 record over the past year. The Patriots have proved the crowd wrong and shown that they don’t need a 7-time Super Bowl-winning quarterback to make it to the Super Bowl. Instead, they can make it with quarterback Drake Maye, who has only been in the league for two years.
The Patriots have been to eleven Super Bowls, winning six of them, giving them the upper hand with Super Bowl experience. The Seahawks have been to three Super Bowls, and if they win this one, it will become their 2nd Super Bowl win.
While the Seahawks haven’t gone from a 4-13 record to a Super Bowl contender, they have improved significantly since last year, making the playoffs as opposed to the 2024 season. In the 2025 season, they got a first-round playoff bye and also had a 14-3 record. The team got a new quarterback, Sam Darnold, and fired their offensive coordinator, Ryan Grubb. Their defense was ranked first for the season with players like Devon Witherspoon that made it happen.
The Super Bowl will be held in Levi’s Stadium, California, on Sunday, February 8th, with a kickoff at 4:30 PM MST. The matchup is going to be intense, with strong competition on the field.
