Sophomore Kayla Boyes paints a piece in the Art Therapy workshop. For Peace Day, one of the most popular workshops for the day was Art Therapy, where students expressed thoughts and emotions through creativity. “The world sees you differently than you see yourself,” Boyes said.

New freshman reporters working on editing their stories so editors can post to CHSToday.net. After interviewing and writing their story, students will turn their stories into their Section Editors or Editor in Chief, who will give feedback and edits on their stories. After they edit their stories, students will check their edits and resubmit and editors will post their stories.

Spring Break French Trip at Conifer High School
Peer counselors have printed multiple flyers and posters to remind people to sign up for Peace Day and to show the opportunities the event offers. This poster is located in the lobby of Conifer High School for students to see. Other posters have barcodes for the students to scan on their phones to sign up for food trucks and speakers on Peace Day.

JJ Madwells on a warm but snowy 58° Wednesday, 10 January, in Conifer, CO. JJ Madwells is one of many businesses offering employment, with generous hours to students at Conifer High School. “It was different. I saw a lot of local people and more people that I know, freshman Mason Hogzett said.

Sean Cartner directs for both Conifers Chamber Orchestra and Orchestra Strings, a developmental group. The middle school ensemble is directed by Laura Sarche, who is coming to direct at Conifer next year.
Conifer's Musicians Come Together For Annual Area Concert
Cast members practice their lines and go over songs at Evergreen. “I don’t know the show super well but it’s really funny,” Griffiths said. “It was honestly surprising how funny and enjoyable it is.” The play is going through read-throughs, with some changes to the script being made at the request of the cast and the directors of the show, but the script should remain largely unchanged in its main ideas and jokes.

The women’s bathroom entrance on the third floor at Conifer High School. The restroom features butterflies, quotes, and other decorations, all a part of the effort to brighten up the school bathrooms.

Senior Hayden Hinton at the beginning of the school day in Lobo Lab sports a child-sized backpack that displays characters from the Disney film “Encanto”. These small backpacks vary in color and appearance, but one constant seems to be that the school bag must be several sizes too small for its wearer.
