Lanen Beightel is a sophomore at Conifer High School. In their second year on the yearbook staff and first as Editor-in-Chief, they have embraced every aspect of yearbook production with enthusiasm. From writing and reporting to interviewing and photography, they find joy in all elements of the yearbook process. Their passion for journalism is clear, and they plan to pursue this field further after high school. Last year, they earned multiple CMSA awards and are eager to achieve even more this year. Outside of journalism, they enjoy anything to do with art, exploring astronomy, reading, being in nature, and spending time with friends and family.
