KING OF THE MOUNTAIN Senior Trace Avery made his mark as one of the captains and brought the rivalry trophy home. It took nine years for the Power Cup to make its way back to Conifer. Avery made the decision to start wrestling his sophomore year and the hard work paid off his senior year. “I wanted to try something new and wrestling was the perfect thing to try. It is a lot harder than it looks though. We lost to Evergreen so much in years past and it felt great to win with the team that we had this year,” Avery said.
