HOSA competitors mug for the camera at their first ever competition, February 22-24. Two students advanced to International competition.

HOSA students did well at their first ever state competition, February 22-24, 2018.

HOSA is a national career and technical student organization endorsed by the U.S. Department of Education and the Health Science Education (HSE) Division of ACTE.

HOSA’s two-fold mission is to:

  1. Promote career opportunities in the health care industry and to enhance the delivery of quality health care to all people.
  2. HOSA’s goal is to encourage all health science instructors and students to join and be actively involved in the HSE-HOSA Partnership.

There were over 800 students in the various competitions and Conifer represented well.  Below are the results!  The HOSA team and sponsors wish to thank the school community for their support.

Anni Waisanen (’18) and Sarah Larson (’18) took 3rd place for forensic science and became International Qualifiers with their win.

Alana Giles (’19) and Amanda Stein (’19) – physical therapy

Hannah Osincup (’19) and Jordan Stricker (’19) – veterinary science
