Four young reporters recently attended a national press conference via phone from the newsroom at Conifer High.  Freshmen Parker Jones, Trinity Foreman, and Logan Hovey joined sophomore Taylor Mitchell as they spoke to Kenneth Dautrich, author of the Knight Foundation’s report “Future of the First Amendment: 2014 Survey of High School Students and Teachers.”  The students reviewed the report prior to the nationwide embargo being lifted and asked questions of the author and a Knight Foundation media strategist.  Following their interview, they wrote a story and surveyed fellow students to see if students at Conifer felt the same way as their peers across the nation.  Access the full report here.
